Educational Programs

We LOVE visitors!

Having visitors is part of our effort to educate citizens about how their food is grown and where it comes from.  We particularly enjoy having children visit the farm -- their natural curiosity and eagerness to learn is so refreshing!

In June of 2007, we hosted the Lower Elementary class from Childpeace Montessori School, which is located in northwest Portland.  The children toured the farm, visited with the goats, watched us milk a goat, planted vegetables, and enjoyed lunch under the Sequoias.  The class plans to donate the vegetables they planted to the Oregon Food Bank located in Hillsboro.
